Indigofera australis

Native Indigo

  • Dense small evergreen shrub 1.0-1.5 m
  • Growth rate fast.
  • Use for screen, hedge, barrier, ornamental.
  • Any soils with reasonable drainage.
  • Full sun to part shade.
  • Very frost hardy.
  • Very drought resistant (once established).
  • Extremely wind firm. Winter – spring (lilac peas).
  • Tip prune only.
  • Clips very well as a hedge or barrier plant.
  • Masses of flowers in late winter.
  • Butterfly attracting.
  • Bee attracting.

Kunzea ambigua

White Kunzea

  • Compact rounded shrub 1.5-2.5 m
  • Growth rate fast.
  • Use for shrubbery, garden, hedge & specimen.
  • Any soils with moderate drainage.
  • Full sun to part shade.
  • Very frost hardy.
  • Very drought tolerant.
  • Very wind firm.
  • Flowers in spring & summer.
  • Tip prune to maintain a compact habit.
