Origin: Tas, Vic, NSW, Qld. Tasmanian provenance.
Small clumping fern 20-30cm height. Width 30-50cm. Perennial. Growth rate medium. Use for ferneries, pots, rockeries, ponds. All soils with reasonable drainage. Fertilise with blood and bone or manure. Part shade to heavy shade (will just tolerate full sun). Moderately frost hardy. Will recover from damage from severe frosts. Keep moist but will survive dry periods.
Features: Ideal for gaps between rocks. Good border in ferneries. Can be brought indoors for short periods.
