Origin: Tas, Vic, NSW. Tasmanian provenance.
Spreading small fern 0.3-0.5m height. Width 2.0m+. Growth rate very fast. Use for shrubberies, rockeries, ferneries, gully and creek bank filler. Wet and poorly drained soils best. Full sun to part shade (not heavy shade). Extremely frost hardy. Will respond following drought.
Features: Intense red young growth.
