Origin: Tasmanian provenance.

Small to medium conical tree 5-10m height. Width 3.0-4.0m. Evergreen. Growth rate fast. Use for screen, windbreak, avenues. All soils with reasonable drainage. Full Sun. Very frost hardy. Extremely drought tolerant. Very wind firm. Red flowers in late Spring to early Summer. Pruning not required. Best left unpruned to get best effect from the plant shape.

Features: Very elegant slightly weeping conical tree. Self-mulching and weed suppressing. Fresh growth in Spring gives the tree a red or burgundy hue.
