Soil: Any fairly deep soils. Does not like clay

Drought: Best kept well watered

Flowers: Spring and summer
Pruning:Not required but tip pruning will make plants more dense. Can be clipped as a hedge or as topiary
Features: Bird attracting. Bee attracting.
Edibles: Berries can be eaten raw or made into a jam or compote.
