Origin: Vic, NSW. Tasmanian provenance.

Shrub to small tree 3.0-7.0m height. Width 2.5-4.4m. Evergreen. Growth rate fast. Use for screen. windbreak and specimen. Any soils – wet and dry. Full sun to part shade. Frost hardy. Drought tolerant once established. Wind firm. Yellow flowers in Winter and Spring.

Features: Scented yellow flowers. Very hardy. Bird attracting.

Form: Very dense medium shrub with foliage to
ground level
Type: Evergreen. Leaves longer and narrower, seed pods longer and straighter than A.longifolia var sophorae. The two hybridise in Tas.

Uses: Screen, windbreak, informal hedge
