Description
A much branched small hairy sub-shrub up to 50cm high. This is a very variable species.
Flowers: Tiny pale green to cream with 5 petals and 5 sepals and wing-like bracts borne singularly or in clusters in the leaf axils.
Flowering: September-March.
Leaves: Alternate, lobed or trifoliate and densely hairy broad ovate 1-4cm long and 2cm wide with 3-7 broad rounded lobes. The leaves are paler on the underside..
Fruit: An evenly ribbed, dry fruit 2mm long.
Habitat: Sheltered locations in dry sclerophyll forest and heathland.
Features: Densely hairy stems and leaves. Lobed or trifoliate leaves. Small cream flowers.
