Origin: Tasmanian provenance.

Compact shrub 0.5 to 2.5 metres. (up to 5.0 m.in bush). Young stems crimson. Flowers in spring. Leaves, bark and berries are aromatic and peppery.Full sun to part shade. Moderately drought tolerant. Very frost and snow hardy. Most soils.

Edibles: Leaves and berries have a spicy flavour. Use fresh or dried. Can be pickled or frozen.

Origin Tas, NSW, Vic.
Form: Medium to tall shrub
