Densely tufted perennial rush 0.4-1.7m height. Width 0.6-1.5m. Spreading from underground stems. Straw coloured flowers in Summer. Full sun to part shade. Use for wet areas, ponds, watercourses, drains and dam margins. Suits waste water treatment systems.

Features: Excellent habitat plant. Bird attracting – seed. Frog Habitat.
