Description
Origin: Tas, Vic, NSW, Qld. Tasmanian provenance.
Erect ‘trunk’ forming fern up to 4.0m. Width 2.0m+. Perennial. Slow to develop trunk. Use in shrubberies, rockeries, ferneries, gully and creek bank filler. Wet and poorly drained soils best. Part to heavy shade. Extremely frost hardy. Wind exposure is the cause of most failures of this plant in cultivation. Will respond following drought.
