Uses: Banks, under trees and shrubs, soil stabiliser
Soil: Most soils from free draining to almost waterlogged. Takes sand and salt
Exposure: Full sun to part shade
Frost: Very hardy
Drought: Extremely tolerant
Pruning: Not required
Flowers: Bright pink flowers in spring
Features: Very good weed suppressant. Great between rocks in rockeries
Ideal coastal plant.
Bush Food: Ripe fruit eaten raw or made into a compote.
