Variable from low to medium shrub or small tree 3.0-5.0m height (can be smaller or taller). Width 2.0-3.0m. Growth rate medium. Use for screen, windbreak, specimen, bonsai. Any soil with fair drainage. Full sun to partial shade. Very frost hardy. Very drought resistant once established. Very wind firm. Yellow flowers in Summer. Prune as required to shape. Will respond well to hard pruning.
Features: Bird attracting – honey eaters and parrots. Excellent cut flower. Good from coastal to highland areas.
