Origin: NE Tas, SA,Vic,NSW – Tasmanian provenance.

Small erect or bun shaped shrub 1.0m height. Width 1.0-1.5m. Evergreen. Growth rate fast. Use for general plantings. All soils with reasonable drainage but best in sands or gravels. Full sun. Extremely frost hardy. Very drought tolerant. Very wind firm. Red flowers in late Spring to early Summer. Pruning not required but can take any amount.

Features: Bird attracting. Self-mulching and weed suppressing. One of the best small Sheoaks.
